Technical Engineer – Procurement

The Role
Job Summary: The Technical Engineer supports the procurement team by providing technical evaluation, specifications review, and coordination with suppliers to ensure materials and equipment meet project requirements and standards. Key Responsibilities: • Review and verify technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs for procurement activities • Prepare and issue technical queries to suppliers/vendors • Evaluate technical submittals and ensure compliance with project requirements • Coordinate with engineering and site teams for material approvals • Assist in vendor prequalification and technical assessment • Support procurement in preparing RFQs and bid evaluations • Ensure all materials comply with project specifications, codes, and standards • Maintain technical documentation and records related to procurement

Requirements
Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or relevant field) • 3–6 years of experience in procurement or technical support within construction/EPC projects • Strong understanding of technical specifications and drawings • Good communication and coordination skills • Proficiency in MS Office and basic engineering software
