Technical Engineer/ Quantity Surveyor (civil)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Technical Engineer / Quantity Surveyor(Civil) to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and Procurement compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates, and preparation of BOQs.
• Site support (from the head office) with the site team to ensure all requirements are clearly defined and met.
• Evaluating subcontractor quotations and supplier pricing.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and services, addressing any issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure material requests are delivered on time and meet project requirements.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and procurement for cost-related matters.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of all project activities.
• Prepare and submit material submittals for approval, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare and manage engineering documents, including Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and other related technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 1–2 years of UAE experience within a contracting company
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
