TECHNICAL ENQUIRY AND QUOTATION MANAGER

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE:

• THE BRIDGE BETWEEN SALES, MARKETING AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
• RECEIVING CLIENTS’ ENQUIRIES
• FOLLOWING UP AND CORRESPONDING WITH VARIOUS INTERNAL DEPARTMENTS
• TO PROVIDE A CENTRAL POINT OF CONTACT TO ENGAGE WITH SUPPORTING DEPARTMENTS/SUPPLIERS AS NECESSARY;
• TO CREATE QUOTES AT AGREED MARGINS;
• DEALING WITH OUR IN-HOUSE SYSTEM TO SEND REPORTS AND STATISTICS TO CLIENTS;
• ENSURE GOODS ARE DELIVERED TO AGREED SERVICE LEVEL;
• OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN CURRENT INFORMATION ON ONGOING PRICING STRUCTURES;
• ADMINISTER ORDERS WITH SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS;
• EXPEDITE PROJECT ORDERS AND PREPARE REQUIRED CLIENT REPORTS;
• COMMUNICATE WITH ALL DEPARTMENTS INVOLVED IN COMPLETING QUOTATIONS;
• PURCHASE OR COORDINATE WITH PURCHASING THE ENTERING OF PROJECT RELATED PURCHASE ORDERS

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• TECHNICAL KNOW-HOW OF FASTENERS, CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, CHEMICALS, PPE
• PROFICIENT IN ENGLISH. ARABIC AND/OR HINDI IS A PLUS
• BACHELOR’S DEGREE PREFERABLY IN ENGINEERING
• MINIMUM 3 YEARS OF RELEVANT INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL PRODUCT KNOW HOW REQUIRED
• BUILDING CONSTRUCTION OR SIMILAR INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY
• GOOD PLANNING AND ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS
• STRONG ANALYTICAL AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS
• EXCELLENT TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS
• AMBITIOUS, SELF-MOTIVATED AND RESILIENT
• HIGH ATTENTION TO DETAIL
• VALID UAE DRIVER’S LICENSE
• Based in Dubai; or willing to relocate to Dubai
