Technical Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings/documents.
• Oversee and manage engineering process in construction projects.
• Analyze and offer technical advice on construction submittals.
• Identify potential issues and implement proactive solutions.
• Serve as the technical subject-matter expert and provide technical escalation support.
• Standardize processes and automate monitoring using relevant technologies.
• Conduct high-level root-cause analysis for project interruptions and establish preventive measures.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Communicate with stakeholders to determine project requirements and provide regular updates.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil /Structural engineering, or a related field.
• 10 or more years of experience in a technical role within the construction industry preferably in high-rise building projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest construction technologies and trends.
• Experience with construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) software and practices.
• Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED28,000.00 per month
