Job Title: Technical Manager

Division: Technical Office

Role Purpose:

The Technical Manager is responsible for leading the technical aspects of engineering projects within the Engineering Management Section. This role involves overseeing project execution, managing technical teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions that align with organizational goals.

Job Accountabilities

• Lead technical teams to develop innovative engineering solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Communicate project updates and technical information effectively.
• Establish and enforce technical standards and quality control measures.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of project deliverables.
• Contribute to the development of technical strategies and departmental goals.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Necessary Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum of 8 -10 years of experience in engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a management or technical leadership role.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies

Education and Certification Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
