Technical Manager - Tender Dept

Candidates should have previous experience the same field preferably in Qatar or GCC countries.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or relevant discipline).
• Experience: Minimum 15+ years of experience in tendering, estimation, or project engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial or senior role.
• Candidate should have QID and ready to join as soon as possible

Short JD as mentioned below:

• Review and analyze complex customer technical requirements, specifications, and drawings to develop optimal technical solutions (safe, cost-effective, and efficient).
• Accountable for the on-time delivery of all technical tender deliverables (data sheets, technical offers, compliance matrices).
• Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering to optimize costs without compromising quality.
• Prepare detailed technical proposals and coordinate with commercial teams for cost estimation.
• Validate the Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and Bill of Materials (BoM).
• Coordinate with internal departments (Engineering, Project Management, Procurement) to ensure technical inputs are accurate.
• Identify potential risks, technical gaps, and deviations in the tender documents and prepare mitigation strategies.
• Lead technical clarifications, queries (RFQ/RFI), and meetings with clients and consultants
• Approve the final technical submission package.
