The Technical Officer is responsible for providing technical support, guidance, and expertise to ensure the successful execution of projects and operations within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various teams, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Overlooking all workings and management of various Technicians on site.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to [specific systems or technology].
- Conduct training sessions for staff on technical procedures and tools.
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of technical projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct inspections and audits to assess technical performance.
- Recommend improvements and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest technological advancements and trends in the field.
- Assist in the development and testing of new products or systems.
- Analyze data and provide insights to inform decision-making.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and other external partners
- Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on technical topics to diverse audiences.
Requirements and skills:
- 3 -Years of Proven experience or a related field, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process, Manufacturing, Chemical), or a related field (preferred).
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Strong understanding of plant operations
