Technical Officer

A&M International is currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Technical Officer to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. We are looking for a dedicated professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to support project teams through effective coordination, documentation, and technical administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and manage technical documentation, reports, drawings, and project records.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of technical submittals, material approvals, and project documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of project correspondence, technical specifications, and revisions.
• Monitor project documentation to ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
• Support project teams in tracking project progress and resolving technical issues.
• Review engineering drawings and documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding technical requirements and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of project schedules, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
• Ensure all technical documents are properly filed, updated, and distributed to relevant stakeholders.
• Support quality assurance and compliance processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience within the United Arab Emirates in a Technical Officer, Technical Coordinator, or similar role.
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, engineering documentation, and project coordination.
• Excellent organizational and document control skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and document management systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD and other engineering software is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on construction, fit-out, infrastructure, or MEP projects.
• Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and project documentation requirements.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
