Technical Product Manager

Role Overview

The Enterprise Technical Product Manager operates at the intersection of business strategy, product innovation, and enterprise architecture. This role is responsible for defining scalable, secure, and high-performance product ecosystems aligned with enterprise standards.

The TPM partners closely with Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, Security, and Business Leadership to deliver cloud-native, microservices-based, API-driven platforms. This role requires deep technical fluency, architectural awareness, and strong product leadership capabilities.

The ideal candidate combines product vision with system thinking and understands how distributed systems, databases, cloud infrastructure, and security frameworks shape long-term product scalability. The role acts as a senior technical partner to engineering leadership, shaping and recommending technical decisions without direct ownership of hands-on development or final architectural authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Enterprise Alignment
  • Own the enterprise product roadmap and ensure alignment between business objectives, technical feasibility, and long-term platform strategy.
  • Solution & Architecture Collaboration

Partner with solution and enterprise architects to define scalable system designs, service boundaries, and integration patterns.

  • Microservices & Distributed Systems

Define product requirements that support microservices-based, API-driven, and resilient distributed architectures.Guide product decisions involving relational and non-relational data models, data ownership, and performance considerations.Ensure product capabilities align with cloud-native infrastructure, scalability, availability, and operational resilience.Enable effective delivery by supporting clean architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices.Drive performance, scalability, and reliability requirements including caching, load balancing, and system efficiency.Ensure product requirements adhere to security best practices, authentication standards, and regulatory compliance needs.Lead backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and cross-functional coordination to ensure predictable and high-quality delivery.Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 6 to 8 years in Technical Product Management, Technical Program Management, or Solution-Oriented Product Roles
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software architecture and distributed systems
  • Experience in microservices-based, API-driven platforms
  • Hands-on familiarity with relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architecture
  • Experience collaborating with DevOps and Infrastructure teams
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization, caching, and scalability strategies
  • Solid knowledge of information security frameworks and authentication models
  • Proven ability to work in Agile, cross-functional enterprise environments
  • Exceptional documentation and stakeholder communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in enterprise SaaS or platform-based products
  • Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or similar)
  • Understanding of event-driven architecture and message brokers
  • Experience in regulated industries (Fintech, Healthcare, Telecom, etc.)
