Technical Project & Account Manager

Systems Arabia is looking for an experienced Technical Project & Account Manager with strong expertise in IT delivery and the Banking domain to manage end-to-end projects and client accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects in the banking domain, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Translate banking business requirements into technical and functional specifications in collaboration with internal teams.
• Oversee project execution across SDLC phases, applying Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring proactive resolution.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, DevOps and security to ensure smooth delivery.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, information security standards, data privacy, and audit requirements.
• Manage account-level commercial aspects, including change requests, effort estimations, invoicing inputs, and contract adherence in coordination with finance and sales teams.
• Prepare and present project status reports, KPIs, and dashboards to clients and senior management.
• Identify and support account growth opportunities such as renewals, upselling, cross-selling, and new project initiatives.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans, BRDs/FRDs, SOWs, change requests, and closure reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT and banking projects and/or account management.
• Strong understanding of banking systems such as Core Banking, Digital Banking, Payments, Cards, Lending, AML/KYC, and Risk & Compliance.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery models.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Experience in handling commercial and account-related activities such as scope changes, effort estimations, contract adherence, invoicing inputs, and SLA management
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
