Job Description
This position is for a Technical Project Lead to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology-related projects while taking an active, hands-on role in learning and working within the systems involved. This position bridges the gap between project management and technical execution, ensuring initiative move forward efficiently, solutions are implemented correctly, and project goals are achieved on schedule.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in a project planning meeting as they are testing configurations, troubleshooting workflows, or learning a new system to drive the project toward completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership and Execution: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines and deliverables. Track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
  • Communication: Regularly report on project status, metrics, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication among IT staff, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
  • Customization & Optimization: Learn and work within key business systems to understand functionality, data flow, and user interaction. Configure, test, and validate system functionality as part of project development and rollout.
  • Data Management: Assist with data validation, migration tasks, and process mapping as needed.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to understand business needs and translate them into technical project requirements.
  • Documentation: Document system processes, workflows, and project learnings for future reference.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend process improvements and technical efficiencies identified during project work.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and work hands-on within business applications or technical systems.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, or workflow management systems.
  • Technical background in system administration, data management, or application support.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and organization.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Project Management Certification, preferred.
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to success.
