Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Utilize project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) as appropriate.
Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams.
- Understand and contribute to the technical architecture of Big Data and API solutions on GCP.
- Work closely with engineers, data scientists, and architects to ensure technical feasibility and alignment.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of data pipelines, data warehouses, and APIs.
Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and operations.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively manage and resolve project issues.
- Escalate critical issues to management as needed.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets.
- Track project expenses and ensure adherence to budget.
- Report on project financials.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project teams.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
GCP Environment Management:
- Manage and optimize our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment for Big Data projects.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our GCP infrastructure.
API Development & Integration:
- Hands on experience in developing Restful APIs and Integrations.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of APIs.

Requirements:

Drive the end-to-end delivery of complex Big Data and API projects on GCP, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices for data pipelines, data warehouses, and APIs.
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and architects to design and implement scalable and reliable data solutions using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
Proactively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring alignment on project goals.
Establish and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and reporting on financial performance.
Hands on experience in developing Restful APIs and Integrations.
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of APIs.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, escalating critical issues to management as needed.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, providing coaching and mentoring to team members.
