Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to manage and lead complex technical projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, designers, QA, and business stakeholders, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects while ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
8+ years of total experience as a Project/Program Manager managing Data Engineering and Analytics projects in a Cloud environment with multi-functional teams.
- Should be strong in Finance Domain
- 5+ years of experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with a proven track record of running 3 or more scrum teams in parallel or enterprise-level application development projects successfully implementing multiple software or web development projects using Agile methodologies.
- Solid understanding of SDLC models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
- Experience overseeing multi-function project teams including Developers, Product
- Owners, Data Analysts, Designers, and QA Personnel.
- Sufficient level of technical background to provide credible leadership to development teams and to be able to evaluate complex project risks and issues accurately and objectively.
- PMP/CSM/PMI-ACP or equivalent certification is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate project management tools such as Jira Confluence is a must.
- Flexible to adapt to fast-paced environments multiple time zones.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management within a software development or IT environment.
- Proven experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical background with a good understanding of software development processes, architectures, and technologies.
- Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong understanding of project management tools like JIRA, Trello, Asana, or MS Project.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
