Technical Purchaser

Job Description:
Meraj Limited is seeking a Technical Purchaser with strong experience in purchasing technical parts, equipment, and materials directly from local markets. The role requires frequent market visits, vendor negotiations, and hands-on purchasing to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of required items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase a wide range of technical parts (mechanical, electrical, industrial, auto, and general engineering items) from local markets.
• Visit local markets and suppliers regularly to source quality materials at competitive prices.
• Negotiate with vendors on pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure timely availability of purchased items to support company operations and projects.
• Keep accurate records of purchases, costs, and vendor details.
• Stay updated on local market trends and new supplier options.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical field.
• Proven experience in technical purchasing.
• Strong knowledge of local markets and technical parts suppliers.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet strict timelines.
