Technical Research Analyst – On-Site | Karachi

Job Description

Divinatory Solutions is seeking a Technical Research Analyst with strong expertise in technical research, data analysis, and technical writing. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of producing high-quality research reports, literature reviews, and case studies using credible academic and industry sources.

Candidates with educational backgrounds in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Machine Learning, or other related disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Job Type: Full-time (On-Site)
Location: Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi
Salary: PKR 70,000 – 100,000 per month
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical and academic research using credible journals, publications, and industry resources.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret secondary data from academic, financial, and industry databases.
• Prepare well-structured research reports, technical documentation, literature reviews, and case studies.
• Apply APA, MLA, Chicago, and Harvard citation and referencing styles accurately.
• Utilize research platforms such as Google Scholar, JSTOR, and other scholarly databases.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis using appropriate statistical tools.
• Present research findings clearly through professional reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality research projects within deadlines.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of APA, MLA, Chicago, and Harvard referencing styles.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, SPSS, Stata, EViews, SmartPLS, or similar statistical and analytical tools.
• Strong analytical thinking, research, and technical writing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple research assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in technical research, data analysis, report writing, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
• Candidates with published academic research or prior experience contributing to academic publications will be given preference.
• Prior industry experience will be considered an advantage.
