At Eni , we are looking for a Technical Safety Engineer within EniProgetti Egypt Ltd. in Cairo . You will be responsible for supporting the growth and development of the Technical Safety Department by providing specialised expertise in technical safety engineering. This role is key to strengthening the department’s capabilities, ensuring the right balance of experience and knowledge within the team and contributing to the transition of leadership to a local resource.

Main responsibilities :

• Perform safety and risk analyses to support project development.
• Carry out design and analysis activities, ensuring the preparation of the necessary deliverables for onshore and offshore plants.
• Verify and ensure the application of HSE philosophies and the implementation of design criteria during project development, as well as support the corporate group in the development of new projects.
• Adhere to all national Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) laws and strictly follow the company’s corporate HSE policy and safety system. Ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all subordinates and verify their compliance with established safety and labour protection rules and regulations.

Skills and experience required :

• University degree.
• Relevant experience.
• The candidate shall act as a Technical Safety Engineer on projects:
• Following the HSE project philosophy to correctly implement engineering criteria.
• Executing technical safety analyses in support of project development.
• Performing design and analysis activities and issuing all necessary deliverables related to onshore/offshore production facilities, ensuring that project objectives, industry standards, and safety best practices are met.
• Being familiar with working with Safety and Phast software.
• Actively participating in technical safety reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team, both within the Safety Systems Group and with other engineering departments on a project, is considered essential.
