Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer
Location: AABTools – Dubai Investment Park (with occasional travel to client sites and other AAB offices)
Reports To: Business Head
Role Overview
The Technical Sales Engineer will play a key role in bridging the gap between technical expertise and customer needs. This position involves a strong mix of technical product knowledge, sales acumen, and customer relationship management. The role requires close collaboration with both internal teams and external clients to ensure the right solutions are provided to customers while driving business growth for AABTools.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical sales related task
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services to customers, this activity is most commonly held at customer jobsite, customer office, or in AABTools Experience center.
- Collaborate with the client’s project managers and engineers to assess the site requirements and recommend the right products as per their application
- Performing trials for customers wherever required
- Collaborating, coaching and strategizing with the sales team
- Schedule training sessions for the customers as an after-sales service
- Identifying new customers and sites regularly
- Interactions and take updates about the progress of prospective sites from customer
- Address customer issues and concerns in fixed time frame
- Provide excellent overall customer service
- Compelling and documenting reports on customer visit, market visit and information on a regular cycle (daily report, weekly summary, monthly updates)
- Timely forecasting of the right products
Additional Responsibilities
- Support marketing activities such as trade shows, exhibitions, and product demonstrations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AABTools’ product portfolio, competitor offerings, and industry trends
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Work with internal departments (procurement, service, logistics) to ensure smooth delivery of solutions
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall sales strategy of AABTools
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within tools, machinery, or engineering solutions
- Strong understanding of industrial tools, construction equipment, or calibration services is an advantage
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites and offices
