Technical Sales Engineer – Infrastructure

Job Description:

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer – Infrastructure to help our clients find the right IT infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate should have both technical and sales skills, able to understand customer needs, design solutions, and support the sales process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to understand their IT infrastructure requirements.
  • Prepare and present technical proposals, designs, and quotations.
  • Work closely with the sales team to support pre-sales and post-sales activities.
  • Recommend suitable products such as servers, networking devices, storage, and power solutions.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for product selection and pricing.
  • Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and prepare solution plans.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and provide technical support when required.
  • Stay updated on the latest infrastructure technologies and market trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical sales or infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, servers, and structured cabling.
  • Familiarity with brands like Cisco, HP, Dell, Ubiquiti, and Mikrotik is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to prepare BOQs, proposals, and cost estimates.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and customer-focused.
