Role summary
- Grow sales of nanomaterials, specialty chemicals and diagnostics listed on reinste.com and hiyka.com via direct institutional sales and PAN‑India distributors.
- Handle end‑to‑end: field visits, office documentation, basic lab coordination for samples/queries, and later build a small sales/application team.
Key responsibilities
- Visit universities, IITs/NITs, CSIR/DRDO/ICMR labs and industries to generate enquiries and convert them into orders for CNTs, nanodiamonds, nano oxides, coatings, diagnostics, etc.
- Identify and appoint distributors/agents across India, set targets, support with training and joint visits, and monitor performance.
- Manage enquiries, quotations, negotiations, orders, and payment follow‑up; update CRM/Excel and coordinate with accounts/logistics for smooth supply.
- Coordinate with lab/technical team for product selection, samples, customization, and documents (COA, MSDS, TDS); close technical queries with support from scientists when needed.
- Work with marketing for mailers, webinars, conferences and website/catalog updates; gradually hire and mentor junior sales/application staff.
Candidate profile
- Education: M.Sc./M.Tech/B.Tech in Nanotechnology, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology or related; or B.Sc. with strong nanomaterials/chemicals sales experience.
- Experience: 3–8 years in B2B technical sales/application support of nanomaterials, lab reagents, diagnostics or scientific products, preferably with academic and industrial R&D clients.
- Skills: Good understanding of nanomaterials and applications, strong communication (English/Hindi), comfort with frequent travel, documentation, and dealing with professors, scientists, purchase and distributors.
KPIs & working style
- Revenue growth from direct institutions and distributors, new distributor appointments, lead‑to‑order conversion and query closure time.
- High customer satisfaction and repeat orders, plus successful onboarding and performance of junior team members.
- Full‑time, Delhi‑NCR based, 40–60% travel PAN India for field visits and distributor development.
