Technical SEO Specialist

Overview:

Red Barn Media Group is a fast-growing marketing agency serving HVAC, plumbing, and roofing contractors across the U.S. and Canada. We are seeking a Technical SEO Specialist who can design and develop clean, conversion-focused websites while implementing dynamic SEO strategies that drive measurable results for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Implement  SEO best practices  into site architecture, schema markup, internal linking, and content structure.
• Develop  dynamic SEO features  (e.g., service-area pages, location-based SEO content, templated but unique landing pages).
• Optimize websites for  speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile performance .
• Design and build responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Collaborate with our marketing team to align  design, UX, and SEO strategy .
• Manage website updates, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure best SEO practices are maintained.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of  on-page SEO  and technical SEO.
• Experience building  SEO-optimized landing pages  for local businesses.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with  Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.) .
• Ability to balance  design creativity with lead-generation performance goals .
• (Bonus) Experience with schema markup, local SEO, and Google Business Profile optimization.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000 per year
