Technical Superintendent

Lila Global continues to expand its global footprint, and we are strengthening our technical presence in Turkey. We are looking for a hands-on, proactive, and experienced Technical Superintendent to support our vessels calling Turkish and European ports.

If you have strong technical expertise, deep knowledge of port operations, and a well-established vendor network in Turkey, this is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing and people-focused organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend GMS & Lila Global vessels at all Turkish ports & anchorages

• Conduct onboard inspections, audits, and cargo crane checks

• Ensure full PSC readiness and track PSC trends to avoid detentions

• Coordinate repairs, dry-docking, and urgent technical attendances

• Build and manage a strong network of workshops, suppliers & contractors

• Liaise with port authorities to ensure smooth and efficient vessel turnaround

• Provide real-time support to Masters and Chief Engineers

Qualifications & Experience:

• Class I Marine Engineer / Naval Architect

• 5–7 years sea-going experience (C/E or 2/E preferred)

• 3–5 years shore experience as Technical Superintendent or Port Engineer

• Experience with geared vessels is a plus

Skills & Competencies:

• Fluent in Turkish & English

• Strong local network in Turkey and ability to travel extensively

• Own transportation in Istanbul
