Job Overview

The Technical Support Engineer will provide expert technical assistance to clients, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to products and services. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to clearly communicate complex technical information to clients. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy technical problem-solving in a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support to customers for products and services
• Resolve technical issues via phone, email, and remote access tools
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolutions
• Accurately log customer issues, actions taken, and resolutions
• Assist with product setup, installation, and configuration for customers
• Guide clients on system usage, features, and best practices
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to resolve complex issues and share customer feedback
• Monitor client systems for potential issues and perform proactive maintenance to minimize downtime

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a technical support role
• Strong proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, operating systems, network configurations, and device setups
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB
• Familiarity with cloud services including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN)
• Experience with remote troubleshooting tools such as TeamViewer and Remote Desktop
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
