Technical Support Representative

Job Overview

Rastrac Net is hiring a Technical Support Representative to join our team full-time. We are looking for an organized, outgoing, team player, who can communicate well with customers and clients, manage their own tasks and deadlines, and likes solving problems.

We are a GPS tracking solutions provider working with organizations of all types and sizes; you will learn many different technologies including communications, networking, hardware, and software.

Responsibilities

This is an entry-level position and the ideal candidate will be someone looking to grow as a professional and into larger responsibilities.

A sample of job duties will include:

Answering technical support questions via phone and email

Troubleshooting technical issues over the phone with clients, technicians, or outside support staff

Configuring GPS tracking devices from many different manufacturers and troubleshooting issues with those devices

Working with team members to troubleshoot software problems in a Windows environment

Requirements

Qualified candidates should have a CS, IS, or IT degree or equivalent experience. Must be knowledgeable with Windows Server administration, PowerShell, and SQL Server. VmWare, Networking, or Web/HTML is very helpful. We have customers in Latin America, so the ability speak and write Spanish is a big plus.

Our hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Reliable transportation to and from our office at these times is required.
