Job Objective 

We’re looking for a technical writer who can bridge the gap between engineering and storytelling. You're a natural communicator who thrives on translating complex AWS cloud concepts into clear, compelling content for both technical and non-technical audiences. Whether it’s a runbook, a white paper, or a thought leadership blog, you bring clarity, structure, and impact to every word. 

You’re not just a writer, you’re a strategic thinker who understands cloud technologies (especially AWS) and can craft narratives that align with business goals and resonate with technical stakeholders including developers, architects, and CTOs. 

Responsibilities 

• Gather and synthesize work tasks, technical inputs, and project updates from engineering, DevOps, and cloud architecture teams. 

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for AWS cloud architectures, infrastructure components, deployment pipelines, and internal tooling. 

• Translate complex technical workstreams into structured, audience-ready content, including blogs, solution briefs, white papers, and operational manuals. 

• Organize fragmented technical output into cohesive, well-structured documentation aligned with readability standards and stakeholder expectations. 

• Develop content on emerging tech including Generative AI, Agentic AI, AI Agents, LLMs, Model Context Protocol, Vibe Coding, Agentic RAG, CLI-driven automation, Strand Agents etc. 

• Produce content for various digital channels: technical blogs, case studies, press releases, landing pages, and marketing collaterals. 

• Write original, non-plagiarized, keyword-optimized content for the Cloudelligent website and client deliverables. 

• Support the creation of client-facing artifacts such as onboarding guides, SOPs, runbooks, architecture decks, and executive summaries. 

• Standardize documentation formats, templates, and style guides to align with internal best practices and AWS documentation standards. 

• Maintain and manage version-controlled documentation repositories (e.g., GitHub, SharePoint). 

• Collaborate with engineers and designers to visualize technical concepts using diagrams (Lucidchart, Visio, Draw.io). 

• Actively participate in sprint planning and project reviews to keep documentation aligned with evolving project scope. 

• Brainstorm and pitch new content ideas, storytelling formats, and content strategies. 

• Conduct thorough, independent research to support content accuracy, depth, and relevance. 

• Ensure all content balances technical depth with brand positioning and user engagement. 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field). 

• 4+ years of relevant experience as a Technical Writer or Content Strategist in a cloud-based or SaaS company. 

• Proven experience writing technical documentation preferably within AWS cloud environment. 

• Understanding of core AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM) and cloud architectural principles. 

• Demonstrated ability to work with engineering teams to convert technical inputs into well-structured, business-consumable documentation. 

• Skilled in creating different forms of content including solution briefs, operational documentation, web copy, white papers, and social media posts. 

• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to distill key messages from raw data and inputs. 

• Excellent command of written English with a balance of technical precision and narrative clarity. 

• Proficiency in documentation tools like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Visio, Draw.io). 

• Experience working in Agile environments and adapting to shifting priorities and requirements. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Knowledge of AI/ML ecosystems, RAG pipelines, model orchestration, prompt engineering best practices and Low-code / No-code AI-driven platforms. 

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. 

• Grasp of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and modern deployment practices. 

• Experience building and maintaining internal SOPs or knowledge bases. 

• Exposure to technical SEO and keyword optimization strategies. 

• Ability to mentor junior writers or lead small writing/documentation projects.
