Technical Writer

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Technical Writer to support both our Marketing and Project Management teams. This role involves producing clear, engaging, and technically accurate content tailored to different audiences — from client-facing marketing materials to internal technical documentation and project deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT solutions including cybersecurity, light current systems, software, networking, and infrastructure services.

Accountability & Responsibilities

• Develop compelling content for brochures, datasheets, website, case studies, and whitepapers.
• Translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly language for marketing purposes.
• Collaborate with product and solution teams to gather accurate technical information.
• Assist in preparing RFP/RFQ responses, solution briefs, and service descriptions.
• Ensure brand tone, voice, and consistency across all marketing content.
• Create video scripts and presentation materials when needed.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including SOWs, user manuals, deployment guides, and reports.
• Document technical workflows, system architecture, implementation steps, and configuration details.
• Support the PMO with project plans, progress reports, client deliverables, and process documentation.
• Assist in drafting internal documentation, project handover documents, and client-facing guides.
• Maintain version control and documentation quality standards across project phases.



Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technical Communication, or a related field.

· 3+ years of proven experience as a technical writer in an IT or systems integration environment.

· Strong understanding of IT domains including Cybersecurity, Networking, Infrastructure, Software, and Low Current systems.

· Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, concise, and engaging content.

· Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineers, project managers, marketing).

· Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

· Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., MS Office, Adobe Suite, Markdown, Visio, Confluence, etc.).

· Familiarity with project documentation practices and marketing content strategies.
