Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties:

Carry out maintenance work, fault diagnosis, and repair works, on port equipment in an efficient manner.

Implement all safety regulations required in all activities as per DPW standards.

Report & respond immediately as appropriate to any hazardous condition

Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or Mechanical, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
-
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

Inspect electrical or mechanical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to inform his supervisor regarding any hazards in the equipment.

Analyse information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems

Contribute to achieve the company targets by following QHSE rules and regulations for operating and maintenance procedures related to job activities.

Identify and select the required spare parts either by visual recognition or from technical equipment manuals thereby constantly monitoring and improving all repair methods
Qualification And Certificates
-
Industrial Diploma / major in Electric / Mechanic.
Experience And Knowledge
-
1:3 years of professional experience preferably gained in ports and terminal / multinational operations

Fully conversant with safety procedures

Intermediate level of English Skills

Good communication skills
