Technician for Commercial Kitchen Equipment

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our service team, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various types of equipment used in restaurants, hotels, and industrial laundry facilities. A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance on a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment (e.g., ovens, fryers, dishwashers, chillers, Ice Machines) and laundry machines (e.g., washers, dryers, ironers).
  • Conduct installation and commissioning of new equipment at client sites.
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to emergency service calls.
  • Accurately document service reports, including parts used and work performed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, explaining technical issues and solutions.
  • Coordinate with the service coordinator or supervisor for daily schedules and parts requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company service standards.
  • Maintain tools, test instruments, and equipment in good working condition.
  • Stay updated on new equipment technologies and service techniques.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with brands like Rational, Hobart, Electrolux, Winterhalter, Miele, etc.
  • Familiarity with hotel kitchen operations or facility maintenance standards.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Kitchen Technician: 2 years (Required)

Language:

  • English and Hindi (Preferred)
