Description
Job Purpose
To Support and troubleshoot Network related problems achieving 99.999% network uptime.
Report To Position Name
- Perform site survey of new shops and branches.
- Supervise other subcontract partners (technicians).
- Receive Hardware equipments and revise their serial numbers and part numbers.
- Revise and test new projects cabling.
- Lay down new cables for Data center equipments.
- Support existing Data center infrastructure.
- Install and troubleshoot FAX lines, Data E1 and voice E1 connections.
- Manage end-users' network and print resources.
- Install new Network and Security devices.
- Install IP phones and troubleshoot their problems.
- Do daily Trouble Tickets.
- Rearrange all racks and cables in all data rooms in all Etisalat (HQ, IT, PoS, Maadi, Systel and future in Tagamo3 alkhames) in a neat and tidy way.
- Do periodic maintenance to all PoS to all devices in order to increase its life time.
- Do periodic maintenance to all devices in all Etisalat buildings.
- Check periodically to all fans in racks, temperature and AC in all data rooms.
- Install new cables in PoS and Etisalat buildings (if there is no deal with any external company).
- Install and help in the movement of cables in data center and data rooms.
- Fix cabling problems in data centers and data rooms.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS_ESSENTIAL
- Diploma or 2 years Technical Institute.
QUALIFICATIONS_DESIRABLE
EXPERIENCE_ESSENTIAL
- Minimum 1 to 10 years Experience.
- Area of experience: Network Cabling.
EXPERIENCE_DESIRABLE
- Doing cabling in large sites.
- Very good experience in different types of cables: UTP, STP and Fiber.
- Can work on computer and send emails.
- Good knowledge in word and excel.
