Job Title: Techno-Functional Consultant – HRMS (Oracle EBS)


Job Summary:

The Techno-Functional HRMS Consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing IT solutions, and implementing Oracle EBS HRMS modules. The role involves requirement gathering, process automation, application development, testing, end-user training, and ongoing system support. The consultant will act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring that Oracle HRMS solutions meet organizational objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct workshops with business requestors to gather requirements and document analysis reports.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and process re-engineering.
  • Perform gap analysis, create test scenarios, and design effective IT solutions.
  • Estimate effort, timelines, and resources required for new features, components, and modifications.
  • Develop and implement Oracle HRMS business applications using tools such as JDeveloper, Oracle Forms/Reports Builder, and AME workflows .
  • Provide recommendations on IT interventions and enhancements based on business needs.
  • Perform programming tasks in line with project plans and functional specifications.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key users to ensure effective utilization of HRMS systems.
  • Test, validate, and implement new features in development/test environments before deploying to production.
  • Lead and manage end-user training sessions during system implementations and upgrades.
  • Provide daily monitoring, support, and maintenance of Oracle HRMS modules including: Self Service, HRMS, Payroll, iRecruitment, and OLM .
  • Manage and follow up on Service Requests (SRs) raised with Oracle Support.
  • Document all project-related activities including requirement analysis, system configurations, and user manuals.
  • Provide system administration support when required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Applications Development , with a strong focus on Oracle HRMS.
  • Certifications in Oracle HRMS Development / Self-Service track preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP Solutions, particularly HRMS modules (Self Service, HRMS, Payroll, iRecruitment, OLM, Appraisal).
  • Experience with JDeveloper, Oracle Forms/Reports Builder, and AME workflow development .
  • Proven background in both functional (business analysis, workshops, training) and technical (programming, system configuration) areas.
  • Strong skills in workshop facilitation, presentation, and report writing.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and support 24x7 environments when required.
  • System administration background is an added advantage.
  • Arabic speaker is a must.
