Telecom Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Telecom Engineer to support our engineering team for a short-term assignment. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Telecom Design and Engineering for the Oil & Gas sector in the Middle East, preferably Qatar.
Duration: 3–4 Months (Extendable)

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in design and engineering (Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design) for Oil & Gas / Industrial Telecom projects in the Middle East Prior work experience in Qatar is highly preferred
Proficient in designing the following Telecom systems for onshore/offshore applications:

• Information and Communications Technology: LAN, WLAN, Telephony
• Radio Systems: VHF, UHF, DMR, Microwave
• Security and Surveillance: Access Control, CCTV, PIDS
• Public Address & Life Safety: PAGA, Page Party
• Marine Safety and Communications
• Entertainment and Lifestyle Systems
• Cabinets, OSP/ISP Cabling and Infrastructure

Capable of performing site surveys to prepare engineering deliverables
Skilled in developing detailed telecom documentation, including:

• Telecom Site Survey Reports
• Design Basis, Specifications, Datasheets
• Block & Wiring Diagrams, Layouts
• Installation Details, Calculations, Schedules
• MTOs, Material Requisitions (MR), etc.

Strong communication and client coordination skills
Experience attending internal and external meetings
Experience working with QatarEnergy and Qatar Shell GTL is an added advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR12,000.00 per month
