Carter Murray is partnering with a leading entity in Saudi Arabia to appoint a Telecommunication Consultant within its Digital & Technology division.


This is a high-impact, senior-level role focused on shaping the future of telecommunications and power systems infrastructure across the Kingdom. The successful candidate will lead the design and optimization of complex telecom systems, drive innovation in power systems communications, and provide expert guidance on policy, standards, and strategic initiatives.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the planning, design, and integration of advanced telecommunications systems aligned with long-term national infrastructure goals.
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of complex network links, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Champion the adoption of cutting-edge communication technologies and drive continuous innovation.
  • Develop and refine high-level policies, procedures, and safety standards for telecom operations.
  • Provide strategic leadership in power systems communications, resolving intricate technical challenges and guiding infrastructure improvements.
  • Manage major telecom projects from concept to execution, ensuring excellence in delivery, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Accurately estimate project costs, justify expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Act as a senior liaison with contractors and cross-functional teams, ensuring performance, alignment, and effective collaboration.
  • Contribute to the organization’s technological advancement and strategic transformation through expert insights and innovation.


Qualifications & Experience


  • Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience :
  • Minimum 16 years (with Bachelor’s) or 14 years (with Master’s) of progressive expertise in telecommunications and power systems.
  • Proven track record of leading complex telecom initiatives and resolving sector-specific challenges.
