Position Overview

WTE Corporation is seeking a visionary and operationally elite Technology Director to spearhead our digital infrastructure and innovation roadmap from our Al Sadd headquarters. Located in the heart of Doha’s commercial district, you will be the primary architect of our technological resilience, ensuring that our enterprise systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with Qatar’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.

The ideal candidate is a "player-coach"—someone who possesses the high-level strategic acumen to advise stakeholders and the technical depth to oversee complex systems integration, cloud migrations, and cybersecurity frameworks.

Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute a 3–5 year technology strategy that supports WTE Corporation’s regional expansion and operational efficiency.
• Enterprise Architecture: Oversee the design and maintenance of robust IT infrastructures, including cloud environments (Azure/AWS), hybrid networks, and on-premise data centers.
• Systems Integration: Direct the implementation and optimization of enterprise tools such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and integrated ERP modules.
• Data Governance & Analytics: Lead the data strategy, utilizing advanced Excel automation (macros, XLOOKUP) and BI tools to provide executive-level insights into operational performance.
• Cybersecurity & Compliance: Establish and enforce rigorous security protocols in alignment with Qatar’s National Cyber Security Strategy and international standards (ISO 27001).
• Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage high-value contracts with global technology partners, hardware providers, and managed service providers (MSPs).
• Team Leadership: Mentor and scale a multidisciplinary technical team, fostering a culture of authenticity, technical mastery, and proactive problem-solving.
• Operational Budgeting: Manage the annual IT CapEx and OpEx budgets, ensuring maximum ROI on all technological investments.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
• Experience: 12+ years of professional experience in IT, with at least 6 years in a directorial or senior management capacity within the GCC.
• Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of enterprise software deployment, virtualization, and modern DevOps practices.
• Language: Professional fluency in English is mandatory. Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage for local stakeholder and government relations.
• Certifications: PMP, ITIL v4, or advanced cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect/Azure Solutions Architect) are highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR40,000.00 per month
