Position Summary:
The Temporary Data Validation and Entry Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data migrated into the Foundation’s new system. Working closely with IS and DEPS teams, this position will validate records, identify discrepancies, and document findings to support organizational data standards. This role is expected to begin between January 19 and February 2, 2026, and continue for approximately 18 weeks. The timeline is based on an estimated 8,200 transactions (about five minutes per transaction). Progress will be reassessed periodically, with updates provided as needed.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Supporting Information Systems and Donor Engagement and Philanthropy Services
•Use the system’s user interface to review, compare, and validate migrated data against legacy records, spreadsheets, and source documents.
•Identify discrepancies, missing data, and inconsistencies, flag issues for review or merge records in accordance with established protocols.
•Perform routine data-quality checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with organizational data standards.
•Document validation findings and recurring error patterns encountered during daily work.
•Collaborate closely with the data management team and IS partners to resolve issues andmaintain accuracy.
•Communicate progress, challenges, and trends in validation issues clearly and promptly,both verbally and in writing.
•Maintain confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
•Experience with Windows operating systems, Office 365, and web-based applications (Chrome,Edge)
•Ability to quickly learn new computer systems and apply structured data-entry rules
•Exceptional attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and consistent application of quality-control standards
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns and recurringerrors
•Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
•Capacity to work independently while contributing effectively to team efforts
•Reliability, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive or confidential information
Essential Qualifications:
•Strong computer skills, including MS Office products, email, word processing, spreadsheets,Internet, and database applications; ability to monitor and use social media
•Valid driver’s license
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
