Job Description Summary
The selected candidate will be working on a project developing an assay for neuronal toxicity in response to AAV. They will also assist in paper and grant writing and mentoring students working on the iPS cell team in the lab.
Job Description
Minimum Ph.D. with 5+ years of post-graduate experience.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with sterile technique and advanced cell culture techniques
- Experience with RNA and protein expression techniques
- Experience with flow cytometry and microscopy
- Strong understanding of assay development and optimization principals
- Strong written communication for grant and manuscript preparation.
- Experience in splice modulation assays.
- Strong ability to follow recent literature for both biological and technological understanding.
- Willingness to mentor junior lab members and develop written transferable protocols.
