We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Temporary Full Time Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and Montessori principles.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions and self-regulation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design lesson plans that meet developmental milestones and support individualized learning needs.
- Engage with children during play-based learning, early intervention activities, and childcare routines to foster growth in childhood development areas.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or special education needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student assessments, standardized testing results, and progress reports in compliance with educational standards.
- Support classroom management by organizing materials, overseeing daily routines such as toddler care and preschool activities, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities related to early childhood education, special education strategies, and classroom management techniques.
- Obtain and maintain a state enhanced background clearance and pediatric CPR and first aid.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored for early childhood education levels including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Proven ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering positive behavior management practices.
- Experience with lesson planning that integrates literacy education, math instruction (including standard-based testing), physical education, and tutoring strategies.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, early intervention techniques, and child welfare best practices.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
