Position Summary

HR Administration Assistant will support day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will assist with administrative tasks, employee onboarding, data entry, and other HR-related duties. This is a temporary part time onsite position designed to provide support during periods of high volume, leave coverage, or special projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with new hire onboarding processes, including documentation, orientation coordination, and system setup.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires (e.g., preparing welcome materials and collecting documents).
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment and address routine employee inquiries.
  • Help coordinate training sessions, meetings, and employee events.
  • File and organize HR documents in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide general administrative support to HR team as needed (e.g., preparing reports, updating organizational charts).
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in an HR support or administrative role preferred.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications, etc.:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems (ATS) – SuccessFactors is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for the position of Temporary Operations Associate is $20 - $23 per hour. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity and other factors as permitted by law.

This salary range is provided in good faith and is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
