Temporary | Part-Time Nanny Needed | Back Bay, Boston

A family located in Boston’s Back Bay is seeking a part-time nanny to care for their 18-month-old child starting as soon as possible through August.

They are looking for someone who enjoys working with toddlers and can support the routines and structure the family already has in place, while also bringing thoughtful ideas and activities that complement their approach.

Schedule
Monday–Friday
2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
(Start ASAP through August)

Compensation
$30–$35 per hour depending on experience

About the Role
The family values a balance of structured activities and child-led play. Their child participates in community activities such as Boston Public Library classes, along with neighborhood outings, playtime, and developmentally supportive routines.

They are looking for a nanny who can observe what is already working well and build on it—bringing ideas, activities, and engagement that support development while respecting the family’s established rhythms.

Grandma will be living with the family during this temporary period, helping support the household and the child’s care. The nanny will work collaboratively with her—both relieving her during parts of the day and partnering together when helpful. The goal is to create a supportive team environment around the child.

Because the family lives in Back Bay near the Green Line, driving is not required.

Ideal Candidate

• Has 1–2+ years of toddler experience (ages 1–3)
• Is observant, proactive, and enjoys planning engaging activities
• Comfortable working collaboratively with both parents and grandmother
• Fully vaccinated (COVID, Flu, TDAP, TB clearance)
• Reliable, warm, and developmentally aware

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
