UVA Temps is recruiting for organized, detail oriented, and professional persons to fill Temporary Transporter roles within the Medical Center.

3 shifts available Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week

7am

• -3:30pm
3pm
• -11:30pm
11pm
• -7:30am

Job Responsibilities:

• Transport patients, equipment, specimens, and deceased within University Hospital.
• Clean equipment for patient care.
• Significant interaction with patients while transporting.
• Use a web-based dispatch system to retrieve transport jobs on mobile device.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently walking, and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail. Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100lbs. May be exposed to fumes, noise, outdoor climate, chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease
