Temporary Works Manager

What you will be doing:

• Create and maintain Temporary Works Register, a master list tracking every temporary item from its initial design to its final removal.

• Develop accurate Design Briefs and ensuring all designs are checked according to the risk category of the work.

• Manage the critical "hold point" process by issuing Permits to Load (giving the green light to use a structure) and Permits to Unload/Strike (authorizing its safe removal).

• Verify that the teams installing the works are skilled and following the approved drawings exactly.

• Appoint and brief Temporary Works Supervisors (TWS) to oversee day-to-day site activities and inspections.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field (or equivalent construction-related work experience),

• 10+ years of experience in field construction is required. Experience in the construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects at domestic and/or foreign locations is preferred.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Deep technical understanding of structural loads and construction processes.

• The authority to stop work if a structure is deemed unsafe, even if it impacts the project timeline.
