Job Summary:
The Tenders and Proposal Specialist is responsible for preparing and managing tenders, proposals, and bids. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure proposals meet client needs and business goals, while maintaining client relationships and supporting project management and business development efforts.
Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to):
- Prepare project documents such as tender and technical documents/reports and specification etc.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with government regulations and procedures related to tender laws in Qatar.
- Prepare prequalification documents, Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, and Expressions of Interest (EOI) submissions.
- Develop a clear bid strategy by collaborating with internal stakeholders (engineering, finance, legal, etc.) to gather essential information and define competitive pricing and delivery terms.
- Coordinate internally with engineering, procurement, and legal teams to ensure all aspects of a tender (technical, commercial, legal) are thoroughly reviewed and approved before submission.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all client communications related to tenders and proposals, ensuring timely responses to queries and clarifications.
Education & Experience:
- B.A./B.Sc. degree in engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 -4 years of experience
- Proven experience tender and proposal specialist at least 5 years.
