Tender Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality technical and commercial proposals in response to tender requirements. You will work closely with project managers, estimators, and other departments to ensure competitive and compliant bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse tender documents and identify key requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate complete tender submissions, including technical proposals, pricing, and compliance documents.
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, and project teams for input and cost estimation.
• Review contractual terms and highlight commercial and technical risks.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required.
• Monitor tender status and follow up on submitted bids.
• Maintain a database of past tenders, suppliers, and pricing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
• 5-10 years of experience in tendering, proposals, or estimating (industry-specific experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of tendering procedures, contract terms, and bid strategies.
• Proficiency in MS Office and tendering software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
