Tender & Estimation Engineer

Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.

Prepare quantity take-offs (BOQ).

Prepare cost estimates and tender pricing.

Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

Prepare technical and commercial proposals.

Ensure compliance with client requirements.

Submit tenders through client portals or physically.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and management.

Prepare RFIs and tender clarifications.

Maintain records of submitted tenders and bid results.

Required Skills

Proficient in AutoCAD (2D; ability to read and interpret construction drawings).

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, cost estimation, and BOQ preparation).

Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for technical reports and proposals.

Experience with quantity take-offs from architectural, civil, structural, and MEP drawings.

Strong knowledge of cost estimation, pricing, and tender preparation.

Ability to prepare technical and commercial bid submissions.

Experience reviewing tender documents, specifications, and contracts.

Ability to obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.

Excellent technical report writing and documentation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Ability to work under strict tender submission deadlines.

Strong organizational and document management skills.

Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.

Preferred Skills

Experience with government and semi-government tenders.

Knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) or relevant local standards.

Valid Qatar Driving License .

Pay: QAR3,162.57 - QAR12,295.48 per month
