Tendering & Contracts Manager
We are seeking an experienced Tendering & Contracts Manager to lead and oversee the full tendering cycle, from reviewing tender documents to final contract negotiations.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical office background, strong technical competences, commercial, and leadership skills to ensure high-quality, compliant, and competitive submissions.
Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze tender and prequalification documents to identify requirements, potential risks, and develop bid strategies.

Oversee preparation of BOQs, dry cost estimates, and comprehensive technical and commercial offers.

Ensure preparation of technical requirements and specifications for tenders.

Supervise and follow up on RFQs with vendors and subcontractors.

Lead evaluation of technical and commercial offers, vendor qualifications, and approve comparison sheets and evaluation criteria.

Lead contract negotiations, ensuring full technical compliance, and oversee drafting of contracts with contractors, suppliers, and maintenance agreements.

Conduct bid clarifications, lead pre- and post-bid meetings, and liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Coordinate with Project, Planning, and Procurement teams to ensure cost-effective and technically compliant solutions and facilitate smooth project handovers.

Maintain tender records, databases, and oversee preparation of bid documents, including specifications, pricing schedules, and compliance statements.

Ensure all tender submissions meet legal, regulatory, and company standards.

Report to senior management on bid progress, outcomes, and performance metrics.

Support market research to gather insights on industry trends, competitors, and client needs to enhance bid strategies.

Lead and supervise preparation of tender submissions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Foster effective communication and collaboration among internal teams to meet bid requirements and deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

PMP certification is highly preferred.

Proven experience in tendering, contracts management, and bid leadership within
substations
projects (at least 13 to 15 years of experience).

Previous Technical Office background is highly preferred.

Excellent knowledge of bidding activities.
