Tendering & Contracts Manager - Engineering

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Contracts & Tendering Manager to lead tendering activities and manage contracts for construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tenders, managing contract negotiations, and ensuring project profitability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full tendering process from invitation to submission
  • Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications
  • Coordinate with technical office, procurement, and estimation teams
  • Prepare commercial and technical proposals
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients
  • Evaluate project risks and opportunities
  • Review subcontractor and supplier quotations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements
  • Monitor project profitability during tender stage
  • Support management with commercial decisions
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in large-scale construction projects
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Requirements


Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (Government universities preferred)

Experience: 13 – 20 years in construction companies (Mandatory)

Strong experience in tendering, contracts, and commercial management

Excellent negotiation and analytical skills

Strong knowledge of construction contracts and project costing
