Tendering Engineer – Electrical

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical tender documents, BOQs, and cost estimates
• Study tender drawings, specifications, and scope of work
• Perform quantity take-off for LV, MV, lighting, power, ELV, earthing, and lightning systems
• Prepare costing, pricing, and final bid submissions
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations and technical compliance
• Evaluate supplier quotations and prepare comparison sheets
• Coordinate with design, project, and procurement teams
• Maintain tender records, documentation, and bid tracking
• Ensure timely submission of tenders as per client requirements
• Support post-tender clarifications and negotiations

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 3–7 years of experience as a Tendering / Estimation Engineer (Electrical)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and specifications
• Proficient in MS Excel and AutoCAD (estimation tools preferred)
• Knowledge of tendering procedures and authority requirements
• GCC / Oman experience preferred
• Good communication and coordination skills
