Tendering Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Tendering Manager with a strong background in the fit-out industry to lead and manage the tendering process for our projects. The Tendering Manager will be responsible for preparing competitive bids, managing pre-qualification documents, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring accurate submission of tenders. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of fit-out works, pricing, and contractual requirements, with proven experience in handling tenders from initiation to award.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation, submission, and management of tenders for fit-out projects.
  • Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify scope, risks, and requirements.
  • Coordinate with estimation, design, procurement, and project teams to prepare accurate and competitive bids.
  • Ensure timely completion of pre-qualification documents, proposals, and tender submissions.
  • Analyze project requirements and prepare cost breakdowns, cash flow, and resource allocations.
  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
  • Conduct post-tender negotiations with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers to support business growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness.
  • Provide management with detailed tender status reports and recommendations.
  • Ensure proper handover of awarded projects to the project execution team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in tendering/estimation.
  • Previous GCC experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of fit-out works, materials, methods, and market rates.
  • Proven track record in preparing winning bids and handling full tendering cycles.
  • Solid understanding of contractual and commercial terms.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
