Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Tendering Manager with a strong background in the fit-out industry to lead and manage the tendering process for our projects. The Tendering Manager will be responsible for preparing competitive bids, managing pre-qualification documents, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring accurate submission of tenders. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of fit-out works, pricing, and contractual requirements, with proven experience in handling tenders from initiation to award.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation, submission, and management of tenders for fit-out projects.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify scope, risks, and requirements.
- Coordinate with estimation, design, procurement, and project teams to prepare accurate and competitive bids.
- Ensure timely completion of pre-qualification documents, proposals, and tender submissions.
- Analyze project requirements and prepare cost breakdowns, cash flow, and resource allocations.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
- Conduct post-tender negotiations with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers to support business growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness.
- Provide management with detailed tender status reports and recommendations.
- Ensure proper handover of awarded projects to the project execution team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in tendering/estimation.
- Previous GCC experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of fit-out works, materials, methods, and market rates.
- Proven track record in preparing winning bids and handling full tendering cycles.
- Solid understanding of contractual and commercial terms.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
