Tendering Manager - Substation

Job Purpose:

Responsible for all bidding activities experienced in bidding of EPC tenders.

Key Accountability Areas:

• Required excellent knowledge and skill in design review activities of HV SS SLD, Layouts/section, Earthing, lighting/ lightning, AC/DC calculations, battery sizing, LV Power, MV & HV cable estimation. Experience of around 10 to 15 Years in the field of 110KV, 132KV and 380KV AIS and GIS Sub Stations.
• To study the complete tender documents, Drawings & Specifications provided by Client and to prepare layout of the projects.
• Prepare clarifications, BOQ and RFP based on project tender documents.
• Float enquiries into the market to collect offers from Vendors/suppliers/sub-contractors.
• Evaluate manufacturer’s techno commercial offers to assess the price for the complete scope by preparing the Comparisons.
• Responsible for all estimation and contract management for bids including producing BOQ, seeking and evaluating technical and commercial offer and preparing a composite bid.
• Preparation of Consolidated Cost summary of the project including Material, Labor, equipment Cost, direct cost / indirect cost, Site management, Finance cost along with preliminary overall margin to management review.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 10-15 Proven working experience in tender preparation in EPC projects, related to 132 KV, 380 KV Substation
• Candidates have additional knowledge for HVDC project will have preference.
• Excellent knowledge of bidding activities preferably experienced in bidding of EPC tenders
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
• Understanding all facets of the construction process.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Electrical, or Power System Engineering from a reputed University.
