Territory Sales Manager – Pumps
Location – Ahmedabad
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Collection (Pumps)
- Achieve product-wise and category-wise monthly sales targets for the Pump portfolio (Domestic Pumps, Submersible Pumps, Monoblock Pumps, Agricultural / Pressure Pumps) for the branch.
- Ensure necessary primary and secondary channel appointments (Pump dealers, electrical dealers, distributors) as required to achieve business objectives.
- Responsible for achieving the planned market share in Pumps by improving reach (ND & WD) and enhancing extraction, bill value, and product mix.
- Execute sales activation plans, BTL activities, including Pump channel partner meets, plumber/mechanic meets, product demonstrations, and brand positioning.
- Ensure collections as per monthly commitment and reduction in receivables/OD (ROD) as per corporate guidelines.
Channel Management (Pumps Trade)
- Continuously monitor and improve Pump channel partner health – Distributors, Dealers, Pump Trade Partners.
- Drive network expansion, channel correction, and channel management strategies for Pump products across town and rural categories.
- Plan and execute strategies to maximize Pump reach (ND & WD) in all town categories.
Process & Market Expansion
- Ensure adherence to Pump sales and collection processes.
- Effective Pump channel management and development.
- Drive market and reach expansion for the Pumps business.
- Plan and conduct Pump promotion activities, demonstrations, and trade activations.
- Handle sales administration and MIS.
- Conduct competition analysis, pricing comparison, and market trend analysis in the Pump industry.
People Management
- Ensure and maximize Pump sales team productivity.
- Lead the team from the front on Pump business processes, sales execution, and collections.
- Identify, track, and nurture the next line of leaders within the branch.
- Identify performance gaps/outliers, conduct Pump team reviews, and provide necessary coaching.
- Ensure strong interpersonal relationships, engagement, and motivation within the team.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Ensure cross-functional efficiency between Sales, Service, Finance, Logistics, Product Management, and Supply Chain for smooth functioning of the Pump business at branch level.
Sales Administration
- Increase productivity and category-wise Pump sales.
- Achieve collection targets and reduction in overdue (OD) for Pump trade partners.
- Strengthen Pump channel management and development initiatives.
External Interface
- Track competition activity, Pump market trends, pricing movements, and trade intelligence.

Education & Experience:
- Graduation (Regular) or B.Tech (Electrical / Mechanical) with MBA (Regular – Preferred)
- 2–10 years of experience in Pumps / Water Pumps / Electrical / Consumer Durable Trade business
