Role Description

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Responsible for managing and executing end-to-end testing activities for UAE Central Bank Payment Systems (IPI, DDS, and Dexter), integrated applications, and ETHIX core banking validations.

The role includes thorough various integrated channels and customer facing applications like testing of ADIB Mobile Banking and Retail Internet Banking platforms, specifically focusing on Financial impacted scenarios like Transfer and Payment scenarios.

In-depth understanding of the following applications is essential:

• IPI
• DDS
• Dexter
• NPSS - IPP
• WPS
• Swift Alliance
• Firco Trust
• Firco Continuity

1. Extensive QA Experience: Over 7+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong background in banking solution implementations.
2. Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of banking processes and payment systems, with specific experience in UAE CB Payment systems and core banking validations.
3. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in tools such as Putty, SSH Shell, Rapid SQL, PL/SQL Developer, SQL Server, Citrix, ETL Informatica, and Crystal Reports.
4. Test Documentation: Proficient in preparing and validating RTMs, test cases, test strategies, test plans, and test closure reports.
5. Testing Expertise: Strong capabilities in functional, integration, and non-functional testing, including ETL using Informatica tool.
6. Automation Skills: Familiar with automation tools like UFT and Selenium, with the ability to assess feasibility and develop automation scripts .
7. Defect & Requirement Management: Experienced in requirement analysis, impact assessments, and defect tracking using Jira or similar tools .
8. Deployment & Validation: Skilled in deploying applications and packages on database and application servers, and validating services including ESB, APIs, and microservices .
9. Agile Methodology: Active participant in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes .
10. Stakeholder Communication: Strong communication and coordination skills with business users, vendors, and support teams for test execution, defect resolution, and documentation.
11. Reporting & Metrics: Capable of preparing effort estimations, capacity planning, dashboards, and status reports for management .

Governance & Compliance: Ensures compliance with security and regulatory standards, maintains testing artifacts, and supports UAT coordination and sign-off .
