RISHS is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team and help our students explore the world's past and present in a meaningful way.

Job Location: Mangadu, Chennai

Walk-in for: TGT English

Walking time: 09:00 am to 4.00 pm

Walk-in Location: RISHS International School (Main School) - 16/2 A, Kundrathur Main Road, Mangadu, Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive social studies curriculum that covers a range of topics, such as history, geography, civics, and current events.
• Foster critical thinking, research skills, and a deep understanding of societal issues among students.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and discussion.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate social studies into a broader interdisciplinary curriculum.
• Support and mentor students in their personal and academic growth.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, with a focus on Social Studies or History.
• Teaching certification and relevant teaching experience.
• A passion for social studies and a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective classroom management and organization.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
